This 4-day safari begins with a morning departure from Arusha to Tarangire National Park, known for its baobab trees, large elephant herds, and abundant wildlife. After a day of game viewing and a picnic lunch inside the park, you’ll head to your overnight stop en route to Serengeti. On Day 2, travel through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area to Serengeti National Park, with game drives across its vast plains, home to lions, cheetahs, elephants, and the seasonal Great Migration. After a picnic lunch, continue game viewing en route to your lodge or tented camp deep in the park. Day 3 begins with a morning game drive (optional at sunrise), followed by travel back east with wildlife sightings along the way, arriving in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area for an overnight stay near the crater rim. On the final day, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive in this wildlife-rich caldera, where you may spot the Big Five, including the endangered black rhino. After a picnic lunch, you’ll ascend the crater and return to Arusha, arriving by late afternoon.
